Marita Mitschein, Managing Director, SAP Training & Development Institute, explains the impact of the SAP Skills for Africa (SFA) program on the lives of young Africans. The skills development and job creation initiative tackles the most pressing issues of our times, such as youth unemployment and digital skills gap. Free of charge for its participants, SFA was introduced with the intention of bringing SAP business skills to youth who have a cultural and social understanding of a region and placing them in jobs within the SAP ecosystem of customers and partners. It is part of SAP’s ongoing commitment to closing the skills gap and runs in a total of 22 countries across the globe as SAP’s Young Professional Program under the umbrella of the SAP Training & Development Institute.
