Auckland, New Zealand — SAP Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) has announced five significant appointments in the New Zealand market, designed to position the company for further growth.
Nigel Birtwell and Alan Tibble take up roles in sales while Christopher Anderson and Suhas Bhargave and Allan Tibbotts, expand the current, consultancy and project management divisions. The appointments come on the back of the January 13 announcement of Geraldine McBride as the new chief executive officer and managing director for SAP ANZ.
“These appointments are an outcome of our intention to continue to deliver strong growth and financial performance in New Zealand. Each person brings with him skills and experience that will allow us to continue to best meet the needs of our customers,” said Ms McBride.
“Our aim is to be the employer of choice for the very best people. In part this reputation will be a natural result of our maintaining the company’s leadership position in the software market, from the small to medium business segment right through to large enterprises.”
Nigel Birtwell joined SAP New Zealand as an account executive responsible for account management and new business development. Specific areas of focus will be customers and prospective Top 200 clients in the Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail market spaces.
Allan Tibble joins SAP New Zealand from SAP US and brings with him a wealth of experience and depth in the SAP product suites and solution set.
Christopher Anderson joins SAP as a project manager, based in Wellington. Alan Tibbotts returns to SAP New Zealand after 12 months in Switzerland. He brings with him extremely strong retail skills. Suhas Bhargave has already begun work on Supply Chain Management projects with Fonterra.
