Sydney, Australia — SAP Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) has announced two new executive appointments to its SMB Division, prompted by growing demand for SAP Business One and mySAP All-in-One business solutions. SAP closed 114 new name deals in the SMB sector, during 2004.
Alastair Watts, previously a new business sales manager for Intentia, has been appointed as mySAP All-in-One Channel Manager and Marisa Wray as SAP Business One Channel Manager, Wray joins SAP from Tectura, where she was responsible for sales of Microsoft Navision and Axapta.
“Today’s announcement is further evidence of SAP’s increasing presence in the SMB sector, and is reflective of SAP’s desire to attract the best people in the industry,” said Tim Cavill, SMB Director, SAP ANZ.

Watts and Wray will work together to support, enable and grow SAP’s SMB customer and channel partnerships across Australia and New Zealand, delivering targeted solutions to market and facilitating long lasting and sustainable partnerships.
Watts is an experienced marketer of business products and services to small and medium sized organisations. He will be responsible for supporting, managing and mentoring SAP business partners to develop and enable a successful and profitable network of resellers. SAP is committed to the development of high value relationships within the reseller community, working exclusively with channel partners that view SAP as the foundation for their ongoing business strategy and success.
Wray’s expert knowledge of technology and business process in the SMB market will provide valuable insight into the solutions that customers require in order to achieve their business and growth objectives.
The SMB market is the fastest growing customer segment for SAP in Asia Pacific with more than 60 per cent of new customers coming from this segment, during the last twelve months. In the last twelve months SAP ANZ has selected and recruited 35 new channel partners across Australia and New Zealand to enable its SMB strategy.
