SAP and Microsoft Announce First Joint Product Designed to Revolutionise How Information Workers Access Enterprise Applications
• New product, code-named “Mendocino,” will link SAP processes and data within familiar, easy-to-use Microsoft Office software — as the first joint product between the two companies who have been working together for 15 years.
• “Mendocino” will link SAP process functionality directly to Microsoft Office applications, revolutionising the way information workers access, analyse and use enterprise data to make better business decisions.
• “Mendocino” will help people avoid wasted time and effort searching for critical corporate information, diminish costly duplication of efforts and limit the need for specific training on disparate systems.

SAP Makes Integration Easy, Affordable for Parent Companies and Subsidiaries
• SAP introduces SAP NetWeaver Subsidiary Connectivity Solution that allows real-time linkage between mySAP Business Suite and SAP Business One.
• Harnessing the power of SAP NetWeaver, the subsidiary solution is being introduced as a growing number of parent companies and headquarters locations select SAP Business One to unify their operations across the globe.

SAP Helps Banks Comply with New Global Accounting Regulations
• SAP Accounting for Financial Instruments is a banking application developed with input from more than 20 major financial institutions and enables more efficient collecting, reporting and auditing of financial information by centralising financial data in a common database.
• The banking application streamlines compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and replaces time-consuming spreadsheet patchwork.
