Leading New Zealand Property and Health Support Services Company Selects mySAP All-in-One
Auckland, New Zealand — SAP New Zealand today announced that OCS (One Complete Solution) has selected mySAP All-in-One to support its nationwide property and health support services business, which includes hygiene, cleaning and security. OCS evaluated technology from Oracle and Microsoft Axapta before selecting mySAP All-in-One. OCS selected mySAP All-in-One on the basis of its functional fit with its industry requirements and the future proofed nature of the software.
OCS, previously known as QSE (Quality Services Enterprises, until March 2005), employs over 3,000 people from Kerikeri to Invercargil with two key sites at Auckland hospital and Auckland airport that won the premier cleaning industry award in 2004. The company operates two major brands; OCS, which provides cleaning, health and airport services, and Cannon Hygiene, for washroom and hygiene services.
mySAP All-in-One will provide OCS with an integrated business management system spanning its network of 26 branch offices. The project is designed to improve OCS’s ability to monitor operational performance and manage customer relationships with over 2,000 workplaces throughout New Zealand. Intelligroup will implement the SAP solution, which replaces legacy finance applications from CBA.
“Until now, OCS has relied on centralised and disconnected systems for ongoing business management,” said Mike Regan, CFO, OCS. “The objective of this project was to enable us to improve the service that we deliver to clients while providing management insights into the best ways to use OCS resources and ensure our profitability. This will largely be achieved by making information about customer relationships and operational performance available to any manager within our network of 26 branches.”
“The ability to submit accurate and timely financial reports was another key business driver for this project,” continued Regan. “OCS is an important component of a multi-national company, which is headquartered in UK. We had to ensure that we were able to meet governance requirements for financial reporting and accountability, which was another reason for selecting SAP.”
For the first time, OCS branch managers will be able to access up-to-date information about the company’s financial performance, using mySAP All-in-One. Sales managers will be able to access point of sale information about OCS’s range of hygiene and cleaning products. The new system will allow managers to review and track thousands of contractual agreements with customers.
