Auckland, New Zealand — SAP New Zealand has appointed Richard Syers as New Zealand Sales Director. In this role he is responsible for the company’s sales, pre-sales and support teams in Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland. Richard is charged with driving the company’s business in New Zealand, with particular focus on the rapidly growing SME market.
Richard joins SAP from Fronde (formerly Synergy) where he was Regional Manager for Asia Pacific. He has spent 17 years in the IT industry, including three years in Singapore as Director Asia Pacific with Requisite Technologies and six years with Oracle, based in Wellington.
