SAP to enable new platform integration, custom development and information management capabilities within existing customer installations
Sydney, Australia — SYDNEY, Australia — 19 June 2007 — SAP Australia and New Zealand today announced the appointment of Patrick Elliot as general manager for its SAP Business Process Platform and NetWeaver sales organisation. Patrick joins SAP from COGNOS, where he most recently held the position of vice president field operations, Asia Pacific.
Patrick will lead SAP Business Process Platform and SAP NetWeaver sales operations across ANZ. Patrick’s team will work with SAP account management team to identify opportunities to deliver additional value to existing customers. He will report directly to Alan Hyde, CEO and managing director, SAP Australia and New Zealand.
Patrick joins SAP with over 15 years of experience in the industry with COGNOS, Hyperion and Computer Associates, working in sales, sales leadership and general management roles across Australia, the United States and Canada.

Patrick Elliot will look after a host of SAP solutions including; SAP application integration tools, Business Intelligence, Corporate Performance Management, Enterprise SOA, front-end solutions like Adobe and Duet (a joint product with Microsoft), Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions including emissions management, and SAP’s xApps (for custom development).

Patrick has two sons; he enjoys travelling and playing golf and recently flew a helicopter for the first time.
