Sydney, AustraliaSAP Australia today announced the winners of the Partner of the Year Awards and New Customer Awards from the first SAP Partner Kick Off Conference (PKOC) held recently in the Hunter Valley.

Four awards were presented by SAP’s new General Manager of Indirect Sales for Australia and New Zealand, Adam Edmondson. The categories and winners were:

  • SAP Mid- Enterprise Partner of the Year – Courtland Business Solutions
  • SAP Small Enterprise Partner of the Year – MicroChannel Services
  • SAP Mid-Enterprise New Customer Award – Extend Technologies
  • SAP Small Enterprise New Customer Award MicroChannel Services

Mid-Enterprise and Small Enterprise Partner of the Year Awards are chosen based on the highest revenue contribution from each of the partners in the mid-enterprise and small enterprise markets during the financial year ended 30 June 2008. The two New Customer Awards are based on the number of new customers partners signed on during the financial year.

Fujitsu Australia was also recognised at the Conference for an award that they received at this year’s SAP Australian User Group (SAUG) summit. The award was for the Best All-in-One Customer Implementation in 2007, which Fujitsu Australia received for its implementation at GSM Retail. This award is judged by an external panel of experts.

The SAP Partner Kick Off Conference (PKOC) is a new annual event for SAP partners held at the start of the Australian financial year. This year, the SAP PKOC provided partners with an overview of SAP’s channel strategy and product roadmap. The Conference also updated partners on SAP’s market segmentation and included sales engagement strategy sessions.

“The inaugural Partner Kick Off Conference was a great success,” said Adam Edmondson, GM Indirect Sales at SAP. “The Conference was an opportunity for SAP and our partners to deepen our understanding of each other’s businesses, compare notes on trends in the market and generally update knowledge on enterprise solutions in Australia’s small and midsize market.

“We are very excited by the opportunities for SAP and our partners in the SME market segment and the Conference helped to set up SAP and our partner community for a very successful year.”
