Auckland, New Zealand — SAP New Zealand today announced the appointment of Graeme Riley as Managing Director, SAP New Zealand, reporting to Tim Ebbeck, President & CEO SAP Australia New Zealand. Graeme begins the transition role immediately and assumes the role permanently from 1 January 2009. He replaces Ian Black, who takes up the role of Chief Operating Officer, SAP Australia New Zealand.
Graeme joins SAP New Zealand from Infor where he was VP Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong. He was responsible for Infor’s strategic solutions and channels businesses across the region.
A New Zealander, Graeme built his career in the local IT market including time as Wellington branch manager for FACT and then as General Manager of GEAC through the late 80s and 90s. In 1999 Graeme lead the development and worldwide launch of GEAC’s ERP product, Streamline, then moved to Australia to head GEAC’s Asia Pacific business. For the last few years he has worked in leadership roles for SSA and, following SSA’s acquisition by Infor in 2006, he moved to his most recent role.
