SAP announces ANZ head for new business division
Sydney. Australia — SAP today announced the appointment of Rajeev Mitroo as the General Manager of the newly formed SAP BusinessObjects Division for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
In this role, Rajeev’s core responsibility will be spearheading the sales of integrated solutions for the business user, comprising business intelligence, performance management and information management solutions previously from BusinessObjects, as well as SAP’s traditional platform, governance, risk and compliance (GRC) offerings.
Based in Sydney, Rajeev reports to Tim Ebbeck, SAP’s ANZ Managing Director as well Simon Dale, SAP’s Senior Vice President for Business User Platform APJ.
“Rajeev’s broad experience and proven track record will enable him to successfully take on the challenges and opportunities for his new position, as SAP continues to enable business users in Australia and New Zealand to transform the way they work by connecting people, information and business,” said Ebbeck.
Having seen the combined strength of both SAP and BusinessObjects and the importance of this market segment, SAP is extending the SAP BusinessObjects’s solution offering to also include SAP’s Platform solutions, providing even greater depth to target this significant market space.

Before joining SAP, Rajeev was Sales Director for Business Objects during the last three years. Prior to joining Business Objects, Rajeev held senior local and Asia Pacific sales management roles with Vignette, Borland, Novell and Intel.
