SAP Business One partner, Key Business Solutions, begin implementation of Business One for Srixon in Australia
SYDNEY, Australia — SAP ANZ today announced the kick off of a Business One implementation at Srixon Sports Australasia Pty Ltd in Australia. The project, being run by SAP Business One partner, Key Business Solutions, started just last week and with the aim to go live by September this year.
Srixon, is most well known globally as one of the largest golf ball manufactures. They also produce a full range of golf clubs and accessories.
The brand, owned by SRI Sport Limited, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd., was looking for an upgrade to its IT system. Srixon had been using an old and outdated legacy system from the 1980s. Key Business Solutions were brought in to advise on a business process review for the company and what improvements needed to be made to support the company through the period of growth it is experiencing.
Key Business Solutions suggested that SAP Business One would be a good fit for the company’s needs and Srixon was keen to use a firm with a global track record. Key objectives for the new system included making reporting mandates monthly to the head quarters in Japan more automated and streamlined, providing employees, customers and partners with easy access to information that supports better decision making as well the need for a powerful solution that would enable company growth and a better bottom line.
The SAP Business One application will integrate all core business functions across the company – including financials, sales, customer relationship management, inventory, and operations. Unlike many other small business solutions on the market, SAP Business One is a single application, eliminating the need for separate installations but providing the option of add-ons as and when required.
Initially there will be 25 users in Australia and the offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, will be used as a test base for SAP Business One. If successful, Srixon will be looking to roll out Business One throughout other subsidiary companies.

Key Business Solutions are also working with two SSP’s CitiXsys for its Inventory Pro and Item Matrix and also BoyumIT for its B1Up as phase one add-ons to the IT overhaul. Valogix’s Inventory Planner and PowerAnaylitcs will be part of phase two add-ons to the new system. “We’ve worked with SAP Business One for many years now and it acts as a stable platform for compatible SSP add-ons,” said Deryc Turner, Director, Professional Services, Key Business Solutions Pty Ltd.
