Aurizon invests in world leading Freight Management Solution from SAP

Sydney, AustraliaSAP today announced that Aurizon, Australia’s largest rail freight operator, will be the first rail transport company globally to implement an innovative freight management solution which leverages SAP’s Supply Chain Execution Platform 9.1 and SAP HANA.

The SAP system aims to provide Aurizon with an integrated freight and yard management solution to support Aurizon’s company-wide transformation which has been driving positive outcomes for customers and shareholders.

The new technology system and services from SAP are focussed on providing Aurizon and its customers with end-to-end visibility across the supply chain process, integrating long and short-term planning with resource availability and customer demand.
