AUCKLAND, New Zealand — SAP SE today announced the appointment of Phil Cameron as Managing Director for SAP New Zealand. Cameron succeeds Graeme Riley who departed SAP after a long and successful tenure reaching nearly 10 years in the role.
With his appointment, Cameron will be responsible for all customer operations in New Zealand and he joins the SAP Australia and New Zealand leadership team, reporting directly to Damien Bueno.
Cameron joined SAP Australia for the second time in 2015 to assume responsibility for SAP’s relationship with the New South Wales Government, after holding senior leadership positions in the technology industry in both New Zealand and Australia, including as CEO of SAP partner Innogence, as Senior Manager for Deloitte in New Zealand, and as Client Partner for SAP in Queensland. He has also served as an Officer in the Royal New Zealand Air Force and is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand.
Damien Bueno, President and Managing Director of SAP Australia and New Zealand said, “The success of our business in New Zealand is crucial to the success of the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) market unit. New Zealand is home to some of our most strategic customers, and a first-class team of SAP employees. Phil Cameron is a proven leader, and I look forward to working with him to continue driving a customer focused business and delivering meaningful and lasting social impact in New Zealand.”
Phil Cameron said, “There is a huge opportunity for SAP and our partner ecosystem in New Zealand, as it is the home to some of our most strategic customers who are at the forefront of technology innovation.
