The Queensland Office of State Revenue (SRO) has spent the past three years shifting to new generation tax IT systems.
Utilising SAP Leonardo machine learning, SRO is now able to secure the state’s revenue base by predicting when tax payers are at risk of defaulting. Introducing this technology allows SRO to offer clients “personalised payment plans” that assist them in meeting their financial obligations. This allows the agency to deliver a more timely revenue collection to the government.
The agency is also using machine learning data with SAP Qualtrics to further understand why clients aren’t able to do their tax on time.
