Recently, Yancoal Australia’s Polaris project went live successfully, which marks a new level of the enterprise management and the application of ‘informatization’ at Yancoal Australia.
The Polaris project is led by the IT department of Yancoal Australia. Through the partnership with Deloitte, SAP, ASG and other enterprises, and with the full cooperation of core business departments, the project has overcome challenges involving a wide range of scope, a large number of systems, and a huge amount of data. It was successfully deployed in time and completed three months ahead of the original schedule. It is the fastest brownfield conversion project among Australian companies of the same scale.
