Appoints Lee Marshall as Head of AI to accelerate Business AI adoption across ANZ
SAP NEWSBYTE — 11 October 2025 —SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) announced today it has strengthened its leadership team in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) with the strategic appointment of Lee Marshall as Head of AI, ANZ.
With over 35 years of digital transformation experience, including AI led business transformation, Marshall will help organisations understand how they can best deploy Business AI and agents like SAP Joule.
“In uncertain economic conditions, AI is one of the clearest levers organisations have to lift productivity and secure long term competitiveness. Lee’s deep private and public sector relationships and experience will prove instrumental in helping customers move from experimentation to production.” said SAP ANZ’s President and Managing Director, Angela Colantuono.
Marshall has a track record of delivering AI at scale, with a background focused on financial services in addition to significant experience in government, telecommunications, transport, logistics and other sectors.
“I’m incredibly excited to join SAP, which I like to say is the company that runs other companies and organisations. Utilising SAP’s Business AI, embedded in the most critical business processes, we have the unique ability to support organisations to derive the most value with minimum friction,” said Lee.
Today, more than 34,000 customers are using SAP Business AI. With Joule infused into 80% of the most-used tasks and more than 1,300 embedded skills, SAP is helping organisations deliver measurable impact where it matters most.
