Steeb: Waldrich Coburg switches to SAP Business All-in-One

Milling, turning, grinding: Machine tool manufacturer Waldrich Coburg is well known for its milling machines and vertical turning machines. Its products are mainly used in power station and diesel motor construction, as well as in the construction, printing, mill products, and tool machine sectors. The midmarket company headquartered in Coburg, Germany, is now switching to SAP Business All-in-One, which will replace the old proALPHA software.

Midmarket specialist Steeb and consulting company untersee are the implementation partners. With SAP Business All-in-One, Waldrich Coburg will benefit from a preconfigured industry solution for the midsize machinery and plant engineering and construction industry. The project kicked off in September 2009. In January 2010, employees in financials and controlling are slated to start working with the solution. From May 2010, the applications for materials management, production planning, stockholding, sales and distribution, and customer service will be live. In total, some 350 employees will use SAP Business All-in-One.

BIS 6 deployed at LBBW Luxemburg

LBBW Luxemburg S.A., a subsidiary of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, has opted for the Business Integration Server (BIS) from SAP partner Seeburger. According to Jörg Schneider, project lead at LBBW Luxemburg, BIS 6 was selected mainly due to its stability and parallel processing options.

Every day, BIS handles between 3,000 and 6,000 processes in SWIFT or XML format at LBBW Luxemburg. BIS 6 is Seeburger’s most powerful platform.
