TORONTO, Canada – Nov. 23, 2017 – SAP Canada, a subsidiary of SAP SE (NYSE: SAP), has been recognized for the first time as one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures for 2017 by Waterstone Human Capital.
The national program, now in its 14th year, annually recognizes forty Canadian organizations for having cultures that enhance performance and help sustain a competitive advantage. SAP Canada was named among ten companies in the Enterprise category. Waterstone Human Capital is an executive search firm specializing in recruiting for fit and cultural talent management for organizations across North America.
The award is based on six categories: vision and leadership, recruitment and hiring for fit, cultural alignment and measurement, retention, rewards and recognition, organizational performance and corporate social responsibility.
Agi Garaba, head of HR, SAP Canada, said: “Culture is the cornerstone of SAP Canada’s success. People love working here because we provide them with opportunities for growth, inclusive, challenging workplaces, and the platform to find purpose and pleasure in their work. Our culture is about diverse and like-minded thinkers learning from and enjoying working with each other, and grassroots employee networks that encourage taking risks, trying new things and meeting new people.”
This latest award takes SAP Canada’s tally of top employer accolades for 2017 to eight.
