SAP Canada has been selected as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for Young People for the fourth consecutive year in the 2018 edition of Mediacorp’s Canadian business survey.
A competition that determines which Canadian employers offer the best workplaces and programs for young people, Canada’s Top 100 Employers for Young People reviews benefits such as tuition assistance, the availability of co-op or work-study programs, and mentorship and training programs. It also takes into account benefits such as bonuses paid when employees complete certain courses or professional designations, as well career management programs that help young people progress faster.
These are some of the reasons for SAP Canada’s inclusion in the 2018 edition of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for Young People:
- SAP Canada manages an Early Talent Ambassador Program for new or recent graduates with less than 2 years of professional experience — the 1-year training program features four 6-week “deep dive” experiences to expose participants to different roles within HR or sales.
- SAP Canada offers high potential employees opportunities to participate in the Social Sabbatical program, a unique, short-term assignment to a team of international employees to solve business challenges for entrepreneurs and SME sector organizations.
Agi Garaba, Head of HR, SAP Canada, said: “Young workers come to SAP Canada for our industry-renowned culture of innovation, progressive benefits programs, and the opportunity to be part of a world-changing mission. They stay for the training programs, career development prospects, and community initiatives. It’s a winning formula that is helping us build the next-generation workforce.”
Headquartered in Toronto, Ontario and operating in the Canadian market since 1989, SAP Canada serves more than 14,000 customers, employs over 3,200 people across Canada, and in 2018, topped Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work in Canada Employee’s Choice list. The company has research and development labs in Montreal, Toronto, Waterloo and Vancouver.
