SAP Canada named in Great Place to Work’s 2018 list of Best Workplaces for Women

TORONTO, March 6, 2018 – SAP Canada has been named as one of the country’s Best Workplaces for Women in 2018 by Great Place to Work, a global authority on high-trust, high-performance workplace cultures.

The list of 50 Best Workplaces for Women is based on direct feedback from employees of hundreds of organizations surveyed by Great Place to Work. The list is based on a Trust Index score determined by the strength of an organization’s programs and practices that support and advance women. Analysis of the data to compile this list focused on the following considerations:

  • Minimum 90% positive response to the statement “I am treated fairly regardless of my gender”
  • Companies must be Great Place to Work-certified in the past year
  • Minimum 15 female employees in the organization

Agnes Garaba, head of HR, SAP Canada, said: “Our goal is to create a workplace culture that empowers and includes all employees. It’s an honour to be named a best workplace for women and be recognized for our commitment to forward-thinking initiatives that help employees reach their full potential.”

Headquartered in Toronto, Ontario and operating in the Canadian market since 1989, SAP Canada serves more than 14,000 customers, employs over 3,200 people across Canada, and in 2018, topped Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work in Canada Employee’s Choice list.
