SAP Canada Opens New Canadian Headquarters in Toronto

TORONTO, ON — October 16, 2018 — SAP Canada, a subsidiary of SAP SE (NYSE: SAP), today announces the opening of its new Canadian headquarters in Toronto’s downtown core.

The $12.6 million renovation of SAP Canada’s new Bay Street office space reflects the growing tech scene in Toronto and the company’s continued investment in Canada. SAP’s investment will help the company create new jobs and attract the best talent in the industry.

SAP Canada currently employs 3,400 people in the country, spread across its offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary and its research and development labs in Vancouver, Waterloo and Montreal.

The new Toronto headquarters – taking up 58,000-square-feet over three floors of the historic 222 Bay Street building – add capacity for this growth. The new office will consolidate SAP Labs Canada and customer operations into a collaborative workspace designed to foster innovation. Working with Kasian Architecture, the space has been intelligently designed for the modern worker, with collaborative and inspiring spaces and seamless connectivity.

Work on the Toronto headquarters was carried out by local firms including general contractor Flat Iron Building Group Inc., project manager CBRE, CTI Working Environments, AVI/SPL and Smith & Andersen Consulting Engineering.
