SAP Plans to Invest in China

According to the announcement, over US$2 billion will be spent to grow SAP business in the world’s second-largest economy.

Investment is planned in the areas of solution development (SAP Labs China), solution support (SAP Active Global Suppor) in particular. Additionally, SAP plans to hire approximately 2,000 people and open several new offices throughout the country.

Further spending will go towards growing the partner and IT ecosystem in China, especially for the small and midsize market.
