Within the scope of the SAP xApps (Packaged Composite Applications) program, the dispute management application was recently SAP certified. The SAP application integrates reporting for debtor management on the basis of SAP NetWeaver BI (Business Intelligence) and SAP Dispute Management into one application. Thus, all information required for the processing of invoice queries is available to users in a uniformly bundled and structured manner. Employees benefit from a user-friendly solution which graphically displays all receivables-related transactions during query processing. The solution shows, for example, the chronological progression of complaints and facilitates the display of the ten highest overdue invoices or partial payments in connection with the respective customer data. A top-down process and extensive filter functions mean that users can carry out in-depth analyses, thus allowing them to process all aspects of a complaints procedure within the application.
The “Dispute Management” xApp of the SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer enables access to different components in the SAP system via standardized programming interfaces. Thus, processes from different business areas can be linked together across applications. This feature effectively facilitates access to the SAP system and integrates the reporting of key accounting data on the basis of SAP NetWeaver BI into the complaints processing. This makes it possible to comprehensively represent multiple transactions while also allowing notes to be added from the application directly to the SAP system or to update so-called InfoProviders. Here, the SAP portal serves as an intuitive application interface for Visual Composer-based applications.
The new solution speeds up all processes linked to the processing of invoice queries. Furthermore, it enables structured research and transparent logging, as well as real-time monitoring. The solution effectively reduces the number of open invoices and thus the working capital. “The development of this application demonstrates our expertise in modeling processes for integrated system solutions.
