Paris, July 24 – SAP today announced that Airbus has selected RISE with SAP, supported by an end-to-end sovereign cloud deployment model, to provide a standardized and scalable technology foundation for key business operations across the Company.
The collaboration builds on more than a year of joint preparation between Airbus and SAP teams, bringing together business, technical and operational expertise to define the scope and architecture of the SAP environment.
The deployment will support key business processes across areas including manufacturing, supply chain, finance and customer services, providing a secure and scalable foundation designed to simplify operations and enable the adoption of SAP’s latest innovations.

Building a standardized and scalable SAP foundation
At the core of the collaboration, RISE with SAP will provide Airbus with a unified technology foundation based on principles including standardization, simplification, harmonization and Clean Core.
Through this approach, SAP will help Airbus modernize its SAP landscape and establish an environment designed to support more agile business processes and the progressive adoption of new capabilities across the SAP portfolio.
The scope is expected to support more than 100,000 employees across Airbus
