Bald ist es wieder soweit: Vom 14. bis 16. Mai 2012 findet die SAPPHIRE NOW im Orange County Convention Center in Orlando im US-Bundesstaat Florida statt. Zu diesem Anlass trifft sich traditionell auch die englischsprachige SAP-Anwendergruppe ASUG. Wie bei jeder SAPPHIRE NOW gibt es während der drei Tage zahlreiche Keynotes, Demo-Sessions und Diskussionsrunden. Außerdem präsentieren über 240 Aussteller und SAP-Partner neue Produkte.

Die SAPPHIRE NOW ist in fünf Themenbereiche unterteilt: Analytics, Cloud, Database and Technology, Mobile und Run Better. Analytics umfasst Business Intelligence, Enterprise Information Management, GRC, die Line-of-Business-Solutions (LoB) und Kollaborations-Software. Im Cloud-Campus können sich Besucher OnDemand-Applikationen und Lösungen von Success-Factor vorführen lassen und haben außerdem die Möglichkeit, mehr über die Cloud-Technologie zu erfahren. Im Bereich „Database and Technology“ gibt es Test-Drive-Sessions zu SAP HANA sowie Application-Platforms und Middleware zu sehen. Im Campus „Mobile“ präsentiert SAP mobile Plattformen und Anwendungen sowie neue Business-Apps und Rapid Deployment-Solutions (RDS). Der Bereich „Run Better“ beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema Nachhaltigkeit und speziellen Branchenlösungen.

Im Meet-our-Customer-Pavillon und Executive Meeting Center können Besucher an  Diskussionsrunden mit Kunden und SAP-Experten teilnehmen.

Die Highlights sind jedoch wie in jedem Jahr die Keynotes der SAP-CEOs. Den Auftakt bildet Bill McDermott am Montag um 8.30 Uhr. Am Nachmittag haben von 16.30 Uhr bis 18 Uhr Michael J. Stoko, ASUG Vizepräsident, Anthony J. Bosco, ASUG-Vorsitzender und Bridgette Chambers, CEO von ASUG, ihren Auftritt.

Am Dienstag spricht Jim Hagemann Snabe von 8.30 Uhr bis 10.30 Uhr. Weitere Technik-Neuheiten werden für Mittwoch erwartet. Ab 8.30 Uhr hat Hasso Plattner seinen Auftritt. Vishal Sikka wird ebenfalls seine Keynote halten.

Am Abend des letzten Messetages erwartet die Besucher ein besonderer Ausklang. Um 21 Uhr gibt es für alle SAPPHIRE NOW-Teilnehmer im Amway Center exklusiv ein Konzert der Hard-Rock-Band Van Halen.
