Craig McNeil Mobility in North America, Global Mobility Strategy and Corporate Development, Accenture Digital
Craig McNeil leads Accenture Digital – Mobility in North America as well as global Mobility Strategy and Corporate Development. Craig has extensive experience at leading technically sophisticated, global product and service organizations. Before rejoining Accenture in July 2011, Craig was CEO of mobile payments startup. In this role, he led all global initiatives for the business, including sales, marketing, finance, operations and IT functions. Craig’s initial challenge involved rebranding the company, transforming the sales organization by establishing new performance metrics, redefining the product offering and revamping the business development approach. Additionally, he raised critical operating capital and established strategic partnerships with complementary financial services companies, while releasing innovative services to the company’s customers. Prior his efforts in the mobile payments startup, Craig spearheaded the development and launch of a new financial services-based mobile virtual network operator for a global investment firm. As Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, he focused on developing the company’s business operations and technology domains. He also negotiated contracts with third-party providers, including Western Union, GreenDot and Bancorp; raised over $100 million in investment equity; and executed the first mobile money transfer from the US to abroad in 2007. From 1997 to 2006, Craig worked for Accenture’s Communications, Media & Technology operating group on mobility-related projects in Asia, Europe and North America. He received a master’s degree in Telecommunications and a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Colorado and is based in San Francisco.
