George Lawrie Vice president and principal analyst, Forrester Research
George Lawrie is Vice President and Principal Analyst at Forrester Research, where he provides thought leadership helping firms to capitalize on opportunities offered by changes in technology and consumer behavior. Before joining Forrester in 2003, he had a twenty year career in applications software and management consulting.
His published research at Forrester includes data synchronization, pricing and promotion, merchandise assortment planning. Recent research into the mobile imperative in retail and consumer goods showed how consumerization of IT has enabled firms to empower their employees more closely to relate to consumers armed with the latest mobile technologies.
