Hilary Carter is an advocate for leadership and accountability on Social Media. She is the founder of InTune Communications, a strategic communications company that consults to businesses, individuals, and community-based organizations on Social Media best practices, manages Social Media accounts, and creates customized communications solutions.
Hilary is a regular contributor to the Globe and Mail’s Leadership Lab series, writing on topics such as digital leadership, online branding, digital reputation, image-based communications, and the importance of establishing trust in organizations.
Hilary holds a Master of Science in Management from the London School of Economics.
Her career began in the financial services industry where she conducted market research and managed international client relationships for leading Canadian, American, and Swiss financial institutions.
After 10 years, she turned her attention to developing creative content for clients in print and digital media. Upon witnessing the impact of mobile technology on the publishing industry, Hilary was inspired to create InTune Communications, helping her clients not just to participate on digital networks, but to become leaders on them.
She is thrilled to share her insights on how we can create the kinds of online opportunities that engage, inspire, and support a “give-to-give” approach to career and business success.
