Jay Maurice Founder, founded Lessons In Your Home, "The Music Teachers Who Come to Your Home or School"
Jay Maurice is an award winning pianist, music educator, and entrepreneur. In 1997, he founded Lessons In Your Home, “The Music Teachers Who Come to Your Home or School,” by applying the many techniques and strategies that had helped him inspire, excite, and energize aspiring musicians.
Jay’s approach was simple: recruit the best teachers and give the highest quality lessons where they are most appreciated. Today, his company is creating future musicians in Atlanta, Houston, Washington, DC, Miami/South Florida, Denver, Orlando, Baltimore, Seattle, and Dallas.
His students learn that music is more than notes and rhythms—it’s expression. Jay was recognized and awarded by The Winter Park Musical and Heathrow Arts Festival for his achievements on piano.
He attended Seminole College in Sanford, Florida, on a piano scholarship, and Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
