Patrick Furlong Director of policy and communication, InVenture
Patrick Furlong, Director of Policy and Communication for InVenture, is passionate about the intersection of storytelling and social change. InVenture unleashes the potential of developing entrepreneurs to lift themselves and their communities out of poverty by leveraging mobile technology to create credit scores for unbanked individuals around the world.
Prior to InVenture, Patrick spent two years working in the nonprofit sector in Chile, Bolivia, and Ecuador. He then worked for City Year Los Angeles, in charge of City Year operations in Boyle Heights, a low-income community in East Los Angeles. He most recently worked at the Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California as the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions, recruiting graduate students in public policy and urban planning, and creating and managing the school’s social media outreach strategy.
