Sanjay Shirole Global alliances lead, SAP Startup Focus
Sanjay Shirole is the Global Alliances Lead for the SAP Startup Focus program.
Sanjay spent 17 years as an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, where he founded and ran two “reasonably successful” startups – Xara, Inc. and WebApps, Inc. Then he felt it was time to give back to the entrepreneurial community. Sanjay now mentors entrepreneurs, volunteers at nonprofits like TiE Silicon Valley, and evangelizes about the SAP Startup Focus program to accelerators, incubators, universities, VCs and other startup-related organizations worldwide.
In his spare time, Sanjay loves to ride motorbikes against his wife’s wishes! He is a big believer in the sharing economy and uses AirBnB around the world whenever he vacations with his family.
