Sean Patrick O’Brien Global VP for urban matters and public security, SAP
Sean Patrick O’Brien is Global Vice President for Urban Matters & Public Security at SAP, with responsibility for SAP’s global strategy, solutions portfolio, eco-system and go to market activities in relation to smart cities and public safety/security.
His focus is the launch of a new SAP Urban Matters program for best run cities, including urban innovation around cloud, mobile, analytics, real time and next generation government strategy.
Previously, Sean led a regional SAP business startup for public security across the EMEA region, working with public security clients in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Netherlands, Nordics, Romania, Poland and the European Union, including police, disaster management, ministry of interiors, intelligence, fire, and border agencies.
In his early career, Sean worked in the SAP UK public sector division, and was a Military Scientist in the Royal Army Medical Corps and a Senior Police Officer.
A talk radio and cable TV broadcast journalist since 1995, media producer / host Bonnie D. Graham created and launched SAP Coffee Break with Game-Changers Radio in Fall 2011.
