-For the improvement of client satisfaction-

TokyoSAP Japan announced the recipient partner of “SAP AWARD OF EXCELLENCE 2006” at “Field Kick-off Meeting 2006” held on February 16th.
“SAP AWARD OF EXCELLENCE” is awarded to the partner company with the highest evaluations of contributions made for the users. In its ninth year, the award is becoming well recognized. Below are the criteria for the award and the award winning partners.

・Service Partner Award
Target: Certified Service Partners who provide consulting services as implementation services.
Selection Criteria:

1. Top 5 in Customer Satisfaction Survey (Max. 10 points) executed in 2005. It was also required to achieve higher than average points.
2. More than 1 year experience as SAP Japan Partner
3. Carried out more than 5 customer project
Award winning Partners:

IT Frontier Corporation (2nd time, consecutive for 2 years)
ABeam Consulting Ltd. (9th time, consecutive for 9 years)
The Japan Research Institute, Limited (8th time, consecutive for 8 years)
Hitachi, Ltd. (4th time)

・Technology Partner Award
Target: Technology Partners who provide hardware or technology for SAP software
Selection Criteria:
1. Top 1 in Customer Satisfaction Survey (Max. 10 points) executed in 2005. (It is also required to achieve higher than 10% share as hardware supplier for SAP software)
Or an outstanding contributor in technology solution. (It is adoptable for all Technology Partners who is no a hardware supplier)
2. More than 1 year experience as SAP Japan Partner.

Hewlett-Packard Japan, Ltd. (9th time, consecutive for 9 years)

・Channel Partner Award
Target: Reseller for SAP Software
Selection Criteria:

1. Top reseller for SAP license.
2. More than 1 year experience as SAP Japan Partner.

IBM Japan Corporation / IBM Japan Application Solution Co., Ltd. (5th time, consecutive for 5 years)

・Mid-Market Sales Award – New –

Target: Reseller for SAP Software
Selection Criteria:

1. SAP License channel reseller’s sales organization which achieved top resale in both revenue and new account number in Mid-Market (> 100 billion revenue companies) among Channel Partners.
Award winning Partner:

 IBM Japan Corporation General Business Division, Metropolitan Area (First time)
Appraisal: Top reseller in both number of new accounts and total revenue for SAP license in Mid-Market 2005. And also highly contributed to SAP software penetration and business growth in Mid-Market.

・SAP Business One Award – New –
Target: Reseller for SAP Business One

Selection Criteria:
1. Outstanding contribution to SAP Business One license channel sales.
Award winning partner: Hitachi Information Systems, Ltd. (First time) 
 Appraisal: Top reseller in number of sales accounts and also stable in sales for every quarter.

・mySAP All-in-One Partner Award
Target: mySAP All-in-One Partners
Selection Criteria:
1. More than 1 year experience as SAP Japan Partner.
2. Outstanding contribution to mySAP All-in-One business in 2005.
Award winning Partner: NTT DATA SCIENCE Corporation. (2nd time, consecutive for 2 years)
Appraisal:
Top seller for mySAP All-in-One templates.

・HCM Award
Target: All Partners
Selection Criteria:
1. More than 1 year experience as SAP Japan Partner
2. Outstanding contribution to mySAP HCM Solution in 2005.
Award winning Partner:BearingPoint Co., Ltd (2nd time, consecutive for 2 years)
Appraisal:Achieved top Incremental & Influenced total revenue for HCM solution expansion in 2005.

・CRM Award
Target: All Partners
Selection Criteria:
1. More than 1 year experience as SAP Japan Partner.
2. Outstanding contribution to mySAP CRM Solution expansion in 2005.
Award winning Partner:INTEC INC. (First time)
Selection Criteria:Rapid growth of their implementation / consulting services revenue for SAP CRM, and also strengthen their resales model of SAP CRM and their templates on it.

・SAP NetWeaver Award
Target: All Partners
Selection Criteria:
1. Outstanding contribution on reference creation for SAP NetWeaver in 2005.
Award winning Partner:
IBM Business Consulting Services Co., Ltd. (First time)
Appraisal:Achieved top Incremental & Influenced revenue for SAP NetWeaver, and contributed for SAP MDM first reference.

・Project Award
Target:
1. Prime contractors implementation project of partner who has more than 1 year experience as SAP Japan Service Partner or Channel Partner.
2. Go-live-data was within 2005.
3. Can be a reference project
Selection Criteria:
Total inspection of impacts and quality of the project.

“Project of the Year”
Award winning Partner and Project: Accenture Japan Ltd (2nd time, consecutive for 2 years)
(KYUSHU ELECTRIC POWER CO., INC. / IT project for Sales operation)
Appraisal:Project aimed for service level creation for customers, and restructure of huge/complicated existing sales system. It is the first IS-U CSS (IS Utility, Customer Care and Services) reference in Japan. After this system implementation, customer satisfaction was increased by shorten lead time of invoicing, and also reduce 50% of maintenance time for system infrastructure in case of business environment verification as change of rating structure or company organization. It was highly estimated especially on their high quality project management skill for leading Japan first reference stable.

“Project Award”
Award winner Partner: Toyo Business Engineering Corporation. (3rd time)
(MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES., LTD. / Japan Group expansion project)

Appraisal:Standardized system transaction centered in accounting which were vary in every group companies, and improved business communication between these companies. By using mySAP All-in-One template called B-EN-G m, this implementation was smoothly expanded to group companies with minimum add-on development rapidly.

Award winner Parnter:
IBM Business Consulting Co., Ltd. (2nd time, consecutive for 2 years)
(Kinki Japan Railway Corporation / Asura System Implementation Project)
Appraisal:Implementation project of Financial & SRM, including first implementation in Japan as integration with SRM and PS, live auction and internal control. Their challenges for these new functions should be highly appraised. In addition, there are only a few add-ons and complete project as planed at the beginning and this fact lead to stable productive system go live. This project will be a good reference case for transportation industry.

Award winner Partner:KOBELCO System Co., Ltd. (First time)
(Sinko Engineering & Maintenance Corporation / Business Process Integration Project)

Appraisal:Business application system integration project triggered from merger of 2 companies in Shinko group. Using template (mySAP All-in-One: HI-KORT), mySAP ERP could be implemented within a short period. It enabled business process innovation and integration, and also raise a quality of business information collection and planning. Appraised for short project term refer to the size of it.

Award winner Partner:Japan Unisys Solution Corporation (First time)
(Nihon Yamamura Glass Corporation / SRM Implementation Project)
Appraisal:Implementation program of SRM that utilizes SAP’s strategic purchase system expeditious implementation package. It aims to integrate purchase operation process and improve its efficiency. It was appraised for not only short project term, high-efficiency system but also for the minimum human resources and cost requirements.

Award winner Partner:FUJITSU LIMITED (First time)
(Right-on Corporation / SAP R/3 Implementation Project)
Appraisal:SAP R/3 Enterprise and IS-Retail implementation project in retail industry. Unify systems using SAP XI and improve business process through IT properties.
