Julius Heywinkel Introduces SAP

October 10, 2006 by admin

The industrial textiles manufacturer is currently building a new production plant in Zhangjiagang (China). The location will be integrated into the central SAP system with applications for accounting, controlling, materials management, and sales. The users will be able to start using them from November.
F-IT will be consulting Julius Heywinkel during the implementation of the SAP applications in the areas of accounting and controlling. A range of legal and tax requirements have to be considered, such as country-specific accounting regulations. The company is introducing concurrent accounting to adhere to Chinese regulations and provide a consolidated financial statement.
The Chinese SAP solution is based on a copy of an existing company code (template). Concurrent accounting, country-specific guidelines as well as any necessary interfaces to other systems will also be implemented. For example, interfaces to the so-called Golden Tax System for VAT processing need to be included.
“We were looking for a German IT service provider with experience in implementing SAP solutions in China. F-IT has developed its own method and has already implemented a number of projects. Also, its international consulting team will be able to provide the necessary exchange of skills between our sites in China and Germany,” says Mr. Michael Völler, Operation Director at Julius Heywinkel GmbH, explaining the reasons for choosing the IT service provider.
