Es una pr\u00e1ctica que he refinado durante d\u00e9cadas de reuniones con clientes y socios en toda Latinoam\u00e9rica\u2026 \u00a1y con un promedio de m\u00e1s de 45 semanas de viajes por a\u00f1o!<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, al igual que muchos de ustedes que leen este post, hace m\u00e1s de un par de semanas me enfrent\u00e9 a un desaf\u00edo sin precedentes: decirle a toda la fuerza laboral de m\u00e1s de 5000 empleados en Latinoam\u00e9rica que trabajen desde sus casas, cancelar todos los viajes para mantener a nuestra familia de SAP\u00a0 segura, y colaborar con la contenci\u00f3n del nuevo coronavirus.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora al igual que muchos, he tenido que adaptarme a trabajar en forma remota con la modalidad <em>home office<\/em>. Ya no puedo depender de los m\u00e9todos conocidos y habitualmente usados, y con nuestro equipo hemos tenido que descubrir nuevas maneras de conectarnos virtualmente con nuestros clientes y socios para continuar con todo lo construido en a\u00f1os de relaciones cara a cara sobre la base de la confianza mutua.<\/p>\n<p>Esto me llev\u00f3 a reflexionar: \u00bfEsta situaci\u00f3n \u00fanica que vivimos actualmente exige un nuevo tipo de confianza?<\/p>\n<p>El diccionario Merriam-Webster define la confianza como una creencia firme en el car\u00e1cter, la fortaleza o la verdad de algo o alguien. Para m\u00ed, eso no ha cambiado. Sin embargo, construir y experimentar confianza usando medios virtuales requiere un enfoque algo diferente.<\/p>\n<p>Mientras que hoy hay muchos trabajos que fueron automatizados o que se pueden realizar virtualmente, el \u00e9xito siempre depender\u00e1 del grado de confianza. Entonces, \u00bfc\u00f3mo mantenemos la confianza mientras trabajamos en forma virtual? Tengo tres sugerencias:<\/p>\n<p><em>Mantener las l\u00edneas de comunicaci\u00f3n abiertas<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Aunque no podamos encontrarnos cara a cara con nuestros clientes u otros grupos de inter\u00e9s, podemos estar en comunicaci\u00f3n constante con ellos, asegur\u00e1ndoles que estamos listos para cumplir nuestros compromisos para que ellos alcancen el \u00e9xito. Cuando m\u00e1s establezcamos esta transparencia, m\u00e1s fortaleceremos el nivel de confianza.<\/p>\n<p>Hay estudios que demuestran que el 65% de la comunicaci\u00f3n es no verbal, por lo tanto, las videoconferencias deben ser una prioridad siempre que sea posible. El tono tambi\u00e9n es importante; este art\u00edculo de <em>Harvard Business Review<\/em> sobre\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2020\/03\/10-digital-miscommunications-and-how-to-avoid-them\">fallas en la comunicaci\u00f3n digital<\/a>\u00a0da buenos consejos.<\/p>\n<p><em>Pensar m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los \u201ct\u00e9rminos legales\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Como l\u00edderes de negocio, todos estamos aprendiendo a llegar a acuerdos virtualmente, escribir y ejecutar contratos sin salir de nuestra oficina en casa.<\/p>\n<p>Confiamos en la protecci\u00f3n del lenguaje legal de los contratos, pero detr\u00e1s de cada acuerdo y transacci\u00f3n que cerramos, las partes se comprometen sobre la base de la confianza que han construido entre s\u00ed. Esto es especialmente importante en el actual entorno de negocio. Acordamos y actuamos con la convicci\u00f3n de que la otra parte har\u00e1 lo que corresponda. La confianza est\u00e1 impl\u00edcita.<\/p>\n<p><em>Identificar las abundantes oportunidades para innovar<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Aunque no hay nada como construir confianza interactuando en persona, podemos afirmar que probablemente haya que vivir manteniendo las actuales restricciones de distanciamiento social durante muchas m\u00e1s semanas o incluso meses.<\/p>\n<p>Estemos a la altura de las circunstancias para hacer negocios de nuevas maneras. Es nuestra expectativa que cuando esta situaci\u00f3n termine ganaremos m\u00e1s tiempo para interacciones de calidad, sin necesitar tanto viaje y, en el proceso, \u00a1estaremos ayudando a reducir nuestra huella de carbono!<\/p>\n<p>Este es el momento perfecto para abrazar la oportunidad de innovar y aprender nuevas formas de interactuar, comprometernos y construir confianza virtualmente.
