SAP Executives Meeting with Regional Business Leaders to Discuss New Strategies for Competitiveness
Dubai, United Arab Emirates — Regional organizations are increasingly taking technology-related decisions at executive levels, a new dynamic seen as critical to business success for the Gulf state’s best run enterprises of all sizes, according to industry experts.
The competitive advantage realized through the deployment of business solutions is widely viewed as the difference between succeeding and failing in the current business environment, where operational costs have increased and project timelines have accelerated rapidly over the last 12 months.
“Experienced government officials and business executives are often the first to realize that globally-proven technologies can apply sustainable solutions to ongoing operational challenges,” said Kevin Scott, Chief Operating Officer in the Middle East and North Africa with SAP, the global technology solutions company.
SAP has despatched regional executives to meet with senior public and private sector representatives to discuss how SAP technology can increase workflow efficiency, improve project management, optimize procurement, maximize regulatory compliance, and control costs.
“SAP is committed to help grow the region’s IT industry,” said Ayman Abouseif, Vice President Sales with SAP MENA. “Meeting business leaders in various cities across the Middle East will enable us to demonstrate the strength of SAP and also help develop and grow SAP’s ecosystem.”
SAP executives will be meeting business leaders by invitation only at Doha in Qatar, Riyadh and Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait City in Kuwait, Amman in Bahrain, and Cairo in Egypt.
