Radiocasts | September 6, 2012 by Bonnie D. Graham

Today’s buzz: Mobile moments.

According to Mary Meeker’s 2012 annual Internet trends report, 2.3 billion people are globally connected by the Internet, almost 3% of all US adults own a tablet, and mobile is the source of 8% of all e-commerce. These trends can mean opportunity or catastrophe for your business. Which will it be?

Our experts weigh in:

Sheryl Kingstone: “Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.” (John F. Kennedy, 35th US President)

Blake McLaughlin: “Many is a word that only leaves you guessing.” (Led Zeppelin, Over the Hills and Far Away)

Matthew Schwartz: “One person with a belief is equal to a force of 99 who have only interests.” (John Stuart Mill)

Eric Lai: “Retailers deploying app-enabled iPads can boost their sales by 15-20%. How do I know this? I recently interviewed a restaurateur who is deploying 7,000 iPads and has already seen this effect first-hand.”
