Ice hockey team chooses UNIORG to help implement SAP Business All-in-One
The IT service provider UNIORG recently supported the top-flight German hockey team Iserlohn Roosters in implementing SAP Business All-in-One. During the project, UNIORG had to import data from different individual applications and interlink figures from various sales areas.
SAP Business All-in-One now automates order management and provides the hockey organization with daily reporting on sponsorship money, shop receipts, and ticket revenues. The solution also includes an interface for barcode printers and point-of-sale systems.
OPAL provides mobile access based on Sybase Unwired Platform
The SAP Extended Business program member Opal Associates AG now offers the solution Mobile Field Service, which provides technicians and customer service representatives in the field with constant access to service and work orders, customer data, and warehouse management functions. With Sybase Unwired Platform as its basis, the service ensures real-time push synchronization.
The solution is integrated into SAP’s maintenance and customer service, and it automatically updates its data when a network connection is available. With the smartphone-size mobile computer CS40, meanwhile, users can transfer information on material consumption and working time; those in customer service can also manage notifications and business partners.
Oberland GmbH implements Crossgate’s m@gic EDDY
To meet its growing needs for electronic orders and invoices, Oberland GmbH opted to implement the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solution m@gic EDDY from Crossgate. A major company specializing in ham and sausage products, Oberland began to change over its ordering, DESADV, and INVOIC processes and connect an initial 10 customers and suppliers to Crossgate’s B2B network in early 2010.
Doing so has accelerated Oberland’s order processing and reduced its use of paper while providing a noteworthy feature: networx. This m@gic EDDY component facilitates direct access to a B2B network of over 40,000 business partners and on-demand services.
Brocade showing paths to optimized networks
At this year’s CeBIT, Brocade presented innovative network technologies and ways to simplify IT environments. Its main focus is on virtualized infrastructures and networks designed for cloud computing.
Brocade’s products support up to 100-gigabit Ethernet and 16-gigabit fiber channel transfers, enabling users to scale their networks as needed. The company will also be exhibiting the data center architecture Ethernet Fabrics, which makes dealing with virtualized data centers easier.
Kaba interfacing time recording with SAP Business ByDesign
Kaba, a manufacturer of subsystems for time recording and access control offers a time-recording solution integrated into SAP Business ByDesign. With B-COMM ERP 4 – SAP Business ByDesign, users can register when they arrive, leave, go on breaks, and travel on business.
The solution then loads the corresponding data into SAP Business ByDesign to determine actual working time, update flextime accounts, and calculate hourly wages. This encrypted transfer enables employees to view their time balances and accounts at time-recording terminals.
Noerpel utilizing BEST4LOG-X from arvato systems
The freight-forwarding company Noerpel is now using BEST4LOG-X, an industry-specific solution based on SAP Business All-in-One. Offered by arvato systems and Weber Data Service, this product increases transparency and accelerates workflows by integrating the execution of all primary processes. Meanwhile, arvato systems is also seeking to collaborate with Noerpel on developing a universal industry template for general cargo forwarding.
