TDS to handle payroll for Unilever

In the coming year, Unilever – one of the world’s largest manufacturers of name-brand products – plans to outsource its payroll processes for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to TDS. Unilever employs around 7,200 people in these countries.

In addition, TDS will handle the implementation and operation of Unilever’s new SAP Human Capital Management application, which includes an integrated time management system. Offering brands such as Rama, Good Humor, and Dove, Unilever generated approximately €40 billion in revenues in 2009.

SAP and Open Text expand cooperation

SAP and the enterprise content management (ECM) specialist Open Text have resolved to expand their existing strategic cooperation for a third time. Thanks to this new agreement, SAP will now be able to sell Digital Asset Management (DAM) – a core component of Open Text’s ECM Suite – as the “SAP Digital Asset Management application by Open Text” all over the world.

The two companies’ cooperation has already seen the same software integrated into SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) as part of marketing resource management (MRM) and intellectual property management (IPM).
