SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Surpasses 2,000 Customers

The headline doesn’t quite capture our full story. Yes, we are excited that over 2,000 of our customers have invested in the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solution. We announced reaching 1,000 customers just under two years ago, so this momentum is incredible, but this number signifies something more to us.

We see SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the heart of our HCM suite. This is where everything in the organization comes together to power HR processes with live insights. Our early customers shared this vision, even when it was just a concept on paper, and together we have built a solution to drive better decisions and amazing experiences for people with live data at the center.

What we are truly excited about today is that our customers at large are ready for this journey. They want to be all in with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central at the core of building digital and mobile-first experiences. Four months since joining SAP SuccessFactors to lead the product team, I still come out of customer meetings amazed by the scale and pace of change we are achieving together.

It’s stories like that of global pharma TEVA ensuring the right people are working on the right problems by bringing its workforce of 57,000 on to one HR platform, or City Football Group that is taking the love of soccer to more countries by relying on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to easily integrate new clubs and employees, or UK-based bakery products business Hovis successfully engaging its entire workforce with digital self-services when over half its people were previously not accessing IT systems.

With SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the powerhouse of live insights, combined with our new best-in-class mobile experience, we are enabling people to engage fully in their business transformation. We’ve come a long way, but are looking ahead to further transforming experiences through the power of data. In the labs now are more predictive and conversational experiences, like bringing digital assistants into the workplace to help people focus on what they are best at, and letting technology take care of the rest. Coming next are also increasingly powerful insights that synthesize data from across the breadth of SAP applications and SAP Cloud extensions.

The team is also optimizing our full suite for SAP’s in-memory database HANA, so we can begin to put into action the stuff of fiction, using HANA’s advanced computational capabilities for predictive analysis, simulation, machine learning and artificial intelligence. SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central will be the heartbeat of this smart and thinking system, seamlessly unified with our ecosystem of enterprise applications.

We have an exciting few quarters ahead with a lot of work to do, and we would not have gotten here without our customers and partners joining in our vision and investing as much as we have in the success of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. Keep pushing us and expecting the best! And to our awesome developers, quality engineers, user experience designers, user assistance documenters, product managers, cloud delivery and support teams, and those in the field, let’s take a pause to celebrate as we’re also well underway to deliver on next year’s goals.
