JAKARTA, Indonesia — PT. Polymindo Permata, a specialized manufacturer of tubes and hoses, today announced that it is implementing SAP® Business One, SAP’s affordable and easy-to-use solution for small and midsize businesses, to enhance efficiency and productivity across its organization. The investment of about US$20,000 covers license for seven professional users and three customer relationship management (CRM) users, hardware, implementation and training.
“In an environment where customer demands are increasing, efficiency is the watchword. SAP Business One will help us reduce costs, sharpen our competitiveness and deliver more value to customers” said Junus Sumardi, Director of Polymindo. “This will give us confidence to penetrate the middle and upper market segment and multinational companies.” Thanks to the flexibility of SAP Business One, the solution could be easily integrated with Polymindo’s existing technology, a production application called Polymath. With SAP Business One and Polymath, the company expects to achieve their aggressive growth target of 30% yearly.
Before implementing SAP Business One, Polymindo’s previous system failed to meet the company’s growing demands and presented a number of problems. It was not integrated; data accuracy was weak and thus reports generated were not reliable. With SAP Business One, the various functions of the company’s business operations are seamlessly integrated, instant overviews of each process is gained and highly accurate reports is generated.
