Bangalore — Mumbai based Sutlej Textiles and Industries Ltd, one of the leading textiles companies of the renowned Dr. K.K Birla group having a turnover of INR 1,200 crores and with a man power engagement of over 12,000 employees, today announced that they have selected SAP solutions to improve their operational efficiency levels and achieve business effectiveness. Christened as Project NAVODAYA, the implementation of SAP solutions is expected to address the Financials, Sales, Production, Materials, Quality, Plant maintenance, Export management, Project management, HR and Payroll functions of the organisation.

The solutions will be implemented in the company’s six offices by OBT Global Pvt. Ltd. The implementation is expected to go-live by August 2007 and the company has taken 230 licences for the same. Hardware for the same will be bought from IBM having world class technology.
