SAP World Tour 2009 Brings “Strategies for Success in the New Reality” to Hong Kong

Global SAP Event Focuses on Harnessing the Power of Technology to Help Hong Kong’s Best-Run Businesses Achieve Clarity and Thrive in the Current Business Environment

Hong KongToday more than 600 customers, partners, influencers and prospects will convene at the Island Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong for the launch of the SAP World Tour 2009 – the first leg of the World Tour to be held in the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region.

Mark Gibbs, President, SAP North Asia, who will be delivering the keynote address in Hong Kong, explains, “SAP World Tour 2009 is a global event, but at every stop it addresses the unique needs of companies in that particular region. The Greater China markets are of key strategic importance to SAP and we are delighted to kick off the launch of our SAP APJ World Tour 2009 in Hong Kong.

Taking place in over 70 cities across more than 50 countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America, SAP World Tour is a premium business and technology event which has reached more than 240,000 customers, partners and influencers over the last five years, providing businesses with information on how SAP® solutions can help companies of all sizes successfully transform business challenge into opportunity, becoming a Best-Run Business in the process. In APJ, the World Tour 2009 will cover 25 markets across the Region, starting this week in Hong Kong on June 11 and finishing in Karachi, Pakistan on October 7.

One of the highlights of the SAP World Tour in APJ is the Asia Leadership Dialogue which SAP is bringing to each stop in partnership with the Platinum Circle – a private community of enterprises.
