SAP AG Appoints V R Ferose as the Managing Director of SAP Labs India

Ferose to oversee R&D operations in Bangalore and Gurgaon

BANGALORE, IndiaSAP AG, the world’s leading provider of business software
solutions, today announced the appointment of V R Ferose as Managing Director of SAP Labs in India, effective
from April 1, 2010. In his extended role, Ferose will oversee R&D operations at SAP Labs, across Bangalore and
Gurgaon centres.

With this change, the governance structure at SAP Labs India will be uniformly aligned with that of the
global SAP Labs Network to enable streamlining of strategy and processes.

In addition to being the overall head for SAP Labs in India, Ferose continues to be a key member of the
global SAP Labs network, which has been established to share best practices, set benchmarks and generate
synergies among SAP Labs worldwide.

Ferose has been part of the SAP family since August 1999 and has held various positions at SAP Labs
India. Most recently, he was heading SAP Labs India’s north hub in Gurgaon.

Ferose graduated from the National Institute of Technology in 1997 with a B. Tech. degree in Computer
Science and Engineering.

Kush Desai, Managing Director, SAP Labs (Bangalore location) has decided to move on from SAP Labs
to pursue other opportunities.
