SAP Appoints Megawaty Khie as Managing Director, SAP Indonesia

JAKARTA, IndonesiaSAP Asia Pacific & Japan (NYSE: SAP) today announced the appointment of Megawaty Khie as Managing Director for SAP Indonesia.

Megawaty will be responsible for business strategy development and operations for SAP in Indonesia. Based in Indonesia, Megawaty reports to François Lançon, President and Managing Director for SAP Southeast Asia.

“Indonesia is a strategic market for SAP Southeast Asia and Megawaty’s appointment will provide the leadership and direction to accelerate our growth in this important market,” said François Lançon, President and Managing Director, SAP Southeast Asia. “With her extensive experience in the technology sector and deep knowledge of the Indonesian business environment, we are well-positioned to deliver greater value to our customers and help them run better.”

Megawaty possesses over 18 years of experience in the telecommunications and IT industries, most recently serving as Managing Director of PT Green Energy, a company focusing on solar energy. Prior to joining PT Green Energy, Megawaty held various executive country and regional positions during her tenure at Hewlett-Packard (HP). Her last position at HP was Corporate & Enterprise Sales Director for the Personal Systems Group at HP Asia Pacific & Japan.

In addition, Megawaty was previously the Country Manager for Dell Indonesia and successfully led the business to become one of the most prominent IT companies in Indonesia within three years. Earlier in her career, Megawaty also worked at Microsoft Indonesia as the Director for Small and Midmarket Solutions & Partners Group.

Megawaty holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, United States. Currently, she is pursuing a dual degree in Executive Master of Business Administration from Institut Teknologi Bandung and Aalto University.
