SAP Appoints Scott Russell as Chief Operating Officer, SAP Asia Pacific Japan

SingaporeSAP Asia Pacific Japan (NYSE: SAP) today announced the appointment of Scott Russell as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for SAP Asia Pacific Japan (APJ). As COO, Russell will be responsible for the successful operation of SAP’s entire APJ business – from business innovation to sales operation and execution. An experienced leader, Russell will ensure the company’s operational excellence through service efficiency and effectiveness. Based in Singapore, he will report to Adaire Fox-Martin, President of SAP APJ.

Russell has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry spanning across software, cloud and services. He was most recently Senior Vice President for SAP Services business driving SAP Cloud Services, SAP Consulting, SAP Custom Development, SAP Education, and SAP Premium Engagement portfolio in the APJ region, helping customers succeed at every point in the application lifecycle and adopt the latest innovations.

Prior to SAP, Russell had been in senior leadership roles across APJ with IBM and PwC providing enterprise-solutions to clients within insurance, transportation, retail, industrial, banking and wealth management sectors.
