In the first phase of implementation, CMHL has chosen to implement the SAP S/4HANA® Finance module which comprises SAP Accounting powered by S/4HANA®, SAP Cash Management powered by SAP S/4HANA®, Fiori Applications, Project Systems, Procurement for fix asset and Process Orchestration for Interfaces with the legacy systems “With SAP S/4HANA®, we aim to improve the way we manage our financial reporting with accurate real-time insights into our financial results. “Digital transformation is simply the route that companies take towards leveraging data to change the way they compete and create value in the market. Especially for retail chain businesses, like CMHL, turning to digital solution makes business sense. By leveraging SAP S/4HANA, they can expect to increase productivity, improve inventory management, promote quality and effective human resources management, reduce material costs and expenses, and boost profits. Moreover, essential information can all be shared in real time. Business leaders who don’t seize this opportunity will see their business models and enterprise value erode and be left behind,” said Liher Urbizu, Managing Director of SAP Indochina.

“We now look forward to maintaining a long-term relationship with CMHL as we continue to provide value through S/4HANA® Finance implementation for City Express and City Property in the next phase,” he added.

Today, digital transformation is no longer a choice. It’s an essential driver of revenue, profit and growth. Many organizations are still in the orientation phase of digital transformation. As new technologies continue to emerge, companies must be proactive in establishing a defined path to digital implementation that includes all business areas and levels. With breakthrough technologies, investment in digital skills and a retrained workforce, companies investing in digital solutions will step far ahead.
