Sacombank embarks on project to enhance its customer engagement using SAP Hybris technologies

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – March 6, 2018: The Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Join Stock Bank (SACOMBANK) today announced that it has selected SAP to support the bank in its front office transformation. SAP, the market leader in enterprise application software, will support the bank to deploy its CRM solutions, which include the SAP Hybris CRM Sales, SAP Hybris CRM Service, SAP Hybris Marketing, and SAP HANA Database. The deployment will be led by SAP Digital Business Services, supported by a local partner, NGS Telecommunication & Equipment Joint Stock Company.

The project, which is targeted to be completed in March 2019, is Sacombank’s first major CRM implementation, and is also one of the first deployments that a bank in Vietnam has undertaken to deploy CRM solutions in a comprehensive and systematic way. By leveraging SAP’s on-premise CRM solutions, Sacombank foresees that it should be able to enhance its customer’s experience in all transactions and interactions with the bank.

According to a digital report by We Are Social, Vietnam’s digital population is steadily growing. The number of active social media users have grown by 31 percent while active mobile social users grew 41 percent year-on-year. This highlights the market opportunities for Sacombank to tap into, as it enhances it digital service offerings to its customers.
