Singapore, 11 August 2026 — At its flagship event SAP NOW AI Tour Southeast Asia 2026, SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) announced that TCL SunPower, a global leader in solar energy solutions, has completed the implementation of SAP GROW, establishing a unified cloud ERP platform to support its international operations. With SAP Grow, TCL SunPower has standardized core business processes across multiple markets, improving visibility, control and scalability while creating a foundation for future innovation and AI-enabled business processes.
To support the global expansion of its TCL Solar business, TCL SunPower needed to establish an independent digital foundation for seven overseas entities brought into the organization through a recent acquisition, enabling greater consistency, speed, and control. The company’s international operations spans multiple countries, regulatory environments and processes — including manufacturing entities in the Philippines, sales operations in Singapore and Japan, and a regional sales operations center in Australia.
To meet these needs, TCL SunPower selected SAP GROW and adopted a fit-to-standard approach to simplify processes, reduce customization and accelerate deployment. Working with its strategic partner TCL Gtrontec, which led the implementation, the company established a standardized, cloud-based platform across seven entities in five countries within approximately four months, strengthening financial operations, supply chain visibility, compliance and product traceability.

TCL SunPower has also become the first entity within TCL Group to activate SAP Joule. Today, teams use Joule as a conversational co-pilot to retrieve real-time information on inventory, orders and financial performance, and to summarize operational insights more quickly.
Since going live in February 2026, TCL SunPower has accelerated financial close by three days or more and consolidated five peripheral finance systems into one integrated with SAP via the SAP Business Technology Platform. SAP has also strengthened TCL SunPower’s ability to meet local compliance requirements across overseas markets. This includes better support for regulatory reporting and e-invoicing requirements in selected countries, while bringing overseas entities under stronger group-level financial & treasury governance.
In supply chain and operations, TCL SunPower has improved visibility across ERP, manufacturing execution and warehouse management systems, enabling more accurate inventory tracking, faster fulfilment and more reliable order promising. The platform also supports end-to-end serial-number management and traceability for TCL SunPower’s solar products, improving product visibility, warranty support and after-sales service across markets.
By centralizing real-time inventory data and connecting operational systems with SAP, the company has improved inventory accuracy by 10% to 15% while reducing manual handovers and billing lag. SAP now serves as a single source of truth for key operational data, including material masters and bills of materials across manufacturing and warehouse systems. This has reduced manual data mapping and created a standardized template that can support future multi-country rollouts.
Looking ahead, the company is exploring additional AI use cases, including Joule Agents for finance reconciliation, anomaly detection, procurement exception handling and natural-language analytics. Over time, TCL SunPower aims to move from using AI primarily as a responsive assistant toward a more autonomous system of execution across its global operations.
