(Headquarters: Tokyo; CEO: Takahiro Yamada) today announced a significant digital transformation initiative at <\/span><span class=\"s7\">Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd.<\/span><span class=\"s7\">, a consolidated subsidiary of Ajinomoto Co., Ltd. (President: Taro Fujie; Headquarters: Tokyo). This initiative involves the introduction of the SAP S\/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Datasphere systems to drive forward the transformation of Thai Ajinomoto&#8217;s business and IT operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s7\">Since its founding, the Ajinomoto Group has been committed to addressing social issues through its business operations. It has promoted ASV (Ajinomoto Group Creating Shared Value) management, aiming to increase economic value and growth by creating shared value with society and local communities. In February 2023, the Group introduced a new Purpose: &#8220;Contribute to the Well-being of people, society and the planet with AminoScience.&#8221; This marked a significant evolution in the Group&#8217;s mission and is accompanied by a company-wide management transformation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s7\">Ajinomoto Thailand serves as the most critical base in the ASEAN region for the Group. As a key part of the company-wide <\/span><span class=\"s7\">Data-Driven <\/span><span class=\"s7\">management, Ajinomoto Thailand has transitioned to SAP S\/4HANA. Additionally, the company has implemented SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere. This system implementation and development was spearheaded by ABeam Consulting under the guidance of SAP.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s7\">This transition has yielded significant benefits. Data from SAP S\/4HANA and other <\/span><span class=\"s7\">external <\/span><span class=\"s7\">systems can now be integrated with SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere. This integration allows for the management and analysis of <\/span><span class=\"s7\">business <\/span><span class=\"s7\">performance<\/span><span class=\"s7\"> and forecast simulation more nimbly<\/span><span class=\"s7\"> on multiple <\/span><span class=\"s7\">dimensions<\/span><span class=\"s7\">. Moreover, the migration to <\/span><span class=\"s7\">SAP <\/span><span class=\"s7\">S\/4HANA was strategically paired with a <\/span><span class=\"s7\">shift<\/span><span class=\"s7\"> to cloud-based solutions and a reduction in add-ons. This strategy has led to a substantial decrease in maintenance and operating costs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s7\">Looking ahead, Ajinomoto Thailand plans to fully leverage SAP solutions. This includes utilizing forecasting and machine learning capabilities to enhance the sophistication of its business management.
